LOCATION
The festival grounds
In this area, only people with a daily or general festival pass are allowed to enter. Within the festival grounds, there are the stage and performance area, the dining area with it’s food trucks & the bar, the Skatepark, the workshops area, and finally the market.
In this zone of the venue, entry with purchased food and drinks is not allowed. Dogs are not allowed in the Festival site. The use of any type of glass containers is prohibited. The use of gas utensils for cooking or making fires is not allowed.
Camping
The festival has a reserved area for participants with general tickets to set up their camping gear, including all kinds of tents and awnings, located amidst nature near the venue. The use of any gas utensils for cooking is not allowed, as the use of fire in camping and within the venue is prohibited.
There will be a dedicated area for caravan camping near the car parking area. Only in the camping area are glass containers allowed, and entry with purchased food and drinks is permitted.
Camping opens at 14:00 on the 2nd of August
Showers
There are wooden and bamboo-built showers installed in the camping area and in the festival grounds near the lake, allowing people to refresh during the hottest hours and to maintain hygiene in the camping area.
Water point
There are multiple points of free potable water distributed throughout the festival grounds, including the stage and performance area and the workshop area. Participants can refill their bottles with this water for personal consumption.
Toilets
The bathrooms at the festival are dry toilets, constructed from wood with the purpose of not requiring the use of water, only sawdust, and they will be cleaned several times a day.
The dry toilets must be used with the conscious collaboration of participants, who are expected to sprinkle sawdust at the end of each use and only deposit toilet paper.
Dry toilets are located in the camping area and within the festival grounds near the stage and performance area, as well as near the lake.
Restaurants
The dining area is located within the festival grounds. It holds differents Food trucks with a various food options including main dishes for meals and desserts for participants to enjoy a healthy eating experience.
Bar
There are two bars within the festival grounds. One is located in the dining area, and an other near the stage and performance area.
These establishments serve all types of beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic alike, and provide reusable cups with the Boa Onda Reggae Festival logo to minimize the use of disposable plastic within the venue and consequently reduce waste.
The cups are priced at €1 each and are non-refundable.
